Alex has been asked to be a Down sydrome Walk Ambassador this year! The role of the Down Syndrome Walk Ambassador is to help build awareness of the Walk and encourage families to form a team and raise money to support the numerous programs, events and resources of DSNetwork. As a representative and promoter of the walk, she will be featured on DSNetwork's website and social media, receive a distinguished yard sign and sash and lead the walk on October 28th.

Please walk with us and join us on October 28th at ASU's homecoming parade. Every year we get family and friends together to walk with us in the parade with the DsNetwork of Arizona and hundreds of other families. We are surrounded by the ASU band, cheer/dance teams, clubs, and other school organizations along the parade route. It is a fun day and experience.

Alex is 14 years old and in 8th grade. She is living her best life and wants nothing more than to have a phone and be independent. She is an athlete who loves playing basketball, football, soccer, baseball and golf. She had a blast and learned a lot while playing on her middle school and rec league teams this past year. 

Please join us in the parade on October 28th. If not, we would appreciate any donations to "Team Alexandra" to support the amazing programs, events and trainings that the Down syndrom Network has to offer.

If we raise $750.00 by September 15, Team Alexandra's name will be printed on the back of the shirts. Alex loves seeing her name on the shirts. The theme this year is "Back to the 80's."
