Hello,

This year would have been our 8th year walking in the ASU homecoming parade in support of the Down syndrome Network of Arizona. My family alone has raised over $14,000.00 these past 10 years from our very generous friends and family. With the craziness of the this year, Buddy Walk® Arizona is going mobile with a parade of cars driving through Phoenix ZooLights on November 28. 

With the understanding of the chaos of 2020, our goal this year will be to raise $600.00 so Alex can see her team name on the back of the t-shirts that everyone who signs up for Team Alexandra will receive. She loves that! :) For every $200 raised, teams will be eligible to have 1 Vehicle Drive thru ZooLights, up to a maximum of 10 vehicles. (For example: If your team raises $600, your team will be eligible to have 3 vehicles drive thru ZooLights.) 

• All registered walkers receive a FREE commemorative t-shirt, while supplies last, so come join Team Alexandra or donate if possibe in support of the DsNetwork of Arizona. 

I should note that we have to raise the $600.00 by November 6 in order to get our team name printed on them. THANK YOU for all who have donated and walked with us in the past years. You are appreciated. 

Update on Alex, she has weathered 2020 amazingly well and has just been rolling with it. She finally got to start baseball and is rocking it! She is doing very well in 5th grade on a hybrid schedule now. She is still hilarious, smart and very strong willed which will prove to be a great asset when she is older and not living at home. :) We love this girl and she has an amazing support system from friends to family to educators to therapists. Would love for you to join our team and possibly drive through the Phoenix zoo too!
